WHS Hosts 2nd Annual Jag Jam XC Meet

WHS hosted its 2nd Annual Jag Jamboree cross country meet at the MNTC South Penn Campus Sept. 7.
Westmoore High School hosted its 2nd Annual Jag Jamboree cross country meet at the Moore Norman Technology Center South Penn Campus trail and facilities over the weekend. The weather was crisp and perfect for trail running.
Congratulations, Westmoore High School Cross Country Coach Charlie Reichert said nine school districts from the metro and state participated with nearly 100 runners combined in the men's and women's divisions.
The WHS varsity boys placed 2nd overall and varsity girls placed 3rd. Isaac Chaves (6th) and Eva Tice (2nd) led the way for Jags in their groupings. The JV boys took 2nd.
Reichert said it was an extra special morning as former Jags XC Coach of 28 years Laura Clay started the races for the athletes.
