Have a Thankful Thursday! Here are your daily announcements!               

Math tutoring is available every day during both 1st and 2nd lunch in room D-2. No signup required. 

Interested in playing Slow pitch Softball this spring? If so, stop by room 147 to sign up.  

Freshman class will be selling Grateful grams during both lunches November 14th - November 19th. Send a message and a Sour Mania Lollipop for $2 to your friends. Can also be purchased on MyPaymentsPlus. Must include legal name of recipient and grade level. 

November is Native American month. Celebrating Native heritage and culture there will be an assemble for JOM / NASA members on November 19 during 3rd hour. Students enrolled in JOM and NASA will be able to pick up a pass from their grade secretary during 2nd hour on November 18. The assembly will last the duration of 3rd hour. Guest will be The MPS Dance Troupe and Native Hymn singer Lauren Palmer. If you have questions contact Principal Katy Owens. 

Jag Jems are back! FCCLA will be make custom keychains, bracelets and necklaces for $5 and $10 that are perfect gifts not only for that new freshman or graduating senior in your life, but they can be for mom, dad, teacher or best friend. Come by room 109 to place an order. 

Hey Jags! Drama club is having a meeting on Wednesday the 19th in the drama room until 4:00, hope to see you there! 

Students interested in a career as a teacher stop by room 130 on Thursday to sign up for scholarship opportunities and visits from and to college departments of education. 

Help us Deck the Pantry with Lighthouse Leadership! Starting December 1st, students can drop off canned foods and non-perishables with their 2nd hour teacher. The last day to donate will be December 19th. The 2nd hour that collects the most will receive donuts as a prize!

A big congratulations to the following FCCLA students, they all placed and in their competitive events yesterday and will be moving onto Regionals in February. Ivy Brian, Camila Guttierrez, Jaime Joseph, Audrey Lee, Gadiel Ramirez De La Cruz, Bailey Sam Ruimveld and Rosie Zhao. Great job making us Jaguar Proud. 

Students interested in participating in Young Democrats will meet today after school in Room 130. Please come by and sign up in Room 130 if interested but can’t make the meeting!
